Week 3 :(

Let's just sum up by saying it did NOT go well AT ALL. It was a long week...with accidents and funerals ad police reports and exploding lab equipment and sampling from dawn to dusk. And it isn't over yet. I only completed 2 out of 6 exercises.  However, this does not mark failure on my part. Failure would be to put up my newly bought yoga mat and never downward dog again.  This journey is about completion and that is what I intend to do. Week 4 in p90 is suppose to be the rest or recovery week. Fuck that. Where was that after week 1 when I could barely move. So I will make up for week 3 in week 4 and then continue onto week 5. Please...when you I see you on the streets don't bother me with words like failure or I will Kenpo kick your ass.

Tired

I am hitting my p90 lull. I feel bored, tired and unmotivated.  Its so hard to find the time. Why are these damn workouts so long. Must do 2 sessions today to make up..but when?? Let you know how it goes. Picture me at midnight doing Kenpo.  This week I am UnhappyTam.

Update

Never fear. I am still here and I have NOT wavered from the o so windy and treacherous p90 path. Thanks to those who called or texted to see if p90 had indeed killed me, in fact it is life that is killing me.  I am still very much settling into my very busy days, so I do apologise for not blogging everyday.
So lets talk p90...
I have now almost completed week2. I am not any slimmer. I am not any fitter. I dunno, should I switch from classic to lean or am I not bringing it enough...I just feel so...normal. The only work out I feel that is worth doing is plyo, and ab ripper still kills me.  I soldier on.  Little by little one walks far.  My commitment for wk3 is to really BRING IT!!!!!!
This week you may call me Meringue. (p90 joke). Auf Wiedersehen!!!!!

Day 6 and KFC confessions

Ok. So if you can count..you would notice I missed a day. This was really out of my hands. Was doing lab work from morning to late night and I did do both yesterday and today's programme today. Yes. You can call me by chosen name, SuperTam. I must confess though, that somewhere between the lab work I did find a minute to snag some KFC.  KFC is tasty...convenient and cheap.  I like things that are cheap. But as I discovered yesterday, they have up their prices (hot wings meal is now $19!!!). 'Chicken gone up' as the lady so eloquently told me. So really there is no need to worry about me and that as I would rather raise my own chickens than pay $19 for 6 wings which really arent 6 wings but 3!
In general for food I have been doing pretty good...lots of protein shakes and no sugar or enriched flour. However, I REFUSE to pass up free food when my mum makes it on Sundays. Today, after p90 wiped the flour with me hour after hour, I partook in some lamb. Partook looks funny. Must google it. Anyways, off to the lab. SuperTam out.

Hmmm.....yoga. It was hard. But I think I like it....or maybe I'm just dogging it. Hahahaha. Thats a joke for the p90 ppl. See! After 4 days..I speaka their language :)

Maybe I bit off more than I can chew. I am soooo sleepy.  From tomorrow gonna make a greater effort to torture myself in the morning cuz this night time thing is really kicking my ass.

Maybe next time will be better..but in actuality, it couldn't get any worse.
Also, isn't it funny how when you do an ab exercise for the next day ur abs feel all tight. You feel like when u look down a 6pk will be smiling back at u..but no such luck. Same ol 2L..jiggling away.

Day 1

Went better than I expected....don't get me wrong. Ab ripper X still kicked my ass, but I survived to try again.  Truth be told, I did encounter some technical problems with Chest and back..as I didn't have a resistance band. i hope to rectify this problem by next week. 

So you ask why I am not cowering in the corner ridden with guilt for not doing  pull ups...Well I will tell you.  In addition to p90x, I went to training!!!! and did weights!!!

So yes. Be IMPRESSED. God knows I am :)

Background info

So it has been drawn to my attention that I seem to have a COMMITMENT problem....this may also be considered a LAZY problem...which unfortunately has turned into a FAT problem.  I have found a single solution to all 3.
P90X!!!!!
Ok. This may be a bit over ambitious, but I am a firm believer in risk big, win big.
The plan:
Complete P90X starting Nov1.  After this, I would love to do the programme again and then move onto Insanity (but I havent signed this in blood).
In this time period I hope to loose about 15-20lbs and improve my overall fitness.

I guess that's it for now. I am excited for what tmr will bring :)
